Senior Car and Van Hire is a leading independent vehicle rental company in Leicestershire. We run up to 250 rental vehicles from two sites. Alongside the rental department, we also run successful garage workshops and a car sales forecourt in Market Harborough.
As the business expands, we are looking to add an extra member to the team to help with fleet and account administration. The new role will be based at our Oadby, Leicester offices and will involve working closely alongside the current accounts manager.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with accounts process of the business using Sage.
2. Emailing statements and helping customers with account enquiries.
3. General admin work and data entry as needed by the company.
4. Managing databases to ensure they are kept up to date.
5. Filing away vehicle files in an organized manner.
6. Taxing vehicles at the end of each month.
7. Admin relating to speeding tickets and parking fines.
8. Updating fleet motor insurance database.
9. Booking in vehicles for MOTs, Service and Repairs with internal workshop.
10. Booking in vehicles for warranty and recalls to main dealerships.
11. Managing telematics devices on vehicles.
12. Chasing the progress of vehicles off road.
13. Onboarding and de-fleeting vehicles.
Required Skills:
1. Friendly person willing to help where needed within the team.
2. Strong organizational skills and able to juggle multiple tasks.
3. Proven experience in an admin, accounts or automotive related role beforehand desirable.
4. Full drivers’ license and confidence to drive different vehicles. Very limited requirement for short driving jobs.
5. Excellent attention to detail when data entering.
6. Previous customer service experience.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week.
