These are some of the key ingredients to the role: As Legal Counsel, you’ll join the Group Legal Commercial – People, Suppliers & IP team, working with regional and global teams on employment law and gig economy matters, primarily for the UK market, with a focus on litigation. Your work will play a key role in supporting our business and shaping fair, effective employment practices. You’ll be part of a collaborative team while also working independently to prepare litigation documents, provide practical employment law advice, and support key stakeholders. A clear communicator, you can simplify complex legal concepts and balance legal risk with commercial pragmatism to drive the best outcomes. These are some of the key ingredients to the role Supporting senior legal counsel on major litigation cases Independently provide advice to a team of HR business partners and employee relations specialists and other stakeholders on a broad variety of employment law and gig economy matters, including regarding grievances, investigations, terminations and negotiation strategies Advice to implement global concepts and vision in a locally compliant manner Support on global projects where necessary, with a particular focus on gig economy risks and issues. What will you bring to the table? UK-qualified lawyer with 3 years PQE in employment law and litigation ( candidates with less PQE will be considered if they have a strong HR/ER background) Strong knowledge of employment legislation and case law Experience in the gig economy is highly desirable, and in-house experience would be a plus but is not essential. Comfortable working across multiple teams in an international environment Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and manage multiple priorities effectively. Collaborate closely with the DPO and Privacy team to ensure compliance and alignment with our delivery employment model.
