The post holder will provide care for patients within Halesowen Primary Care Network. We are a group of 6 practices covering a population of approx. 41,000.
You will work in a maximum of 2 practices within the PCN - which will give you variety through the working week. In each practice you will have support from a named GP who will be available to review decisions when you feel this is wanted.
This is also a development role. We will provide training opportunities to make sure that you are growing in your skills. Eventually we want you to be leading the next generation of Paramedics into Primary Care. As a PCN we are actively looking to encourage Paramedics to get trained up to an ACP/ECP.
As a Paramedic in Primary Care you will be acting within your competency to make diagnoses and plan management. You will always have appropriate medical supervision. We want you to feel at home - to work safely, to learn and develop, and to make a real contribution to the healthcare system in our area. We will ensure that your CPD is supported in line with your educational goals.
