My client, a global business services group, is looking for a Category Manager to join their procurement team. This is a permanent role and can be done on a mostly remote basis, with only occasional trips to the offices (based in Salford)
This role will focus on professional and financial services category management, and will be pivotal in driving efficiency and boosting the organisation’s commercial competitiveness across the UK and Ireland.
Additionally, this role will focus on identifying and increasing the use of preferred suppliers, streamlining the supply chain within the relevant categories. This incoming candidate will need to be able to challenge (where appropriate) and innovate and develop strategies that align with the company’s sustainability objectives and ultimately seek to drive commercial improvements.
