We're looking for a Site Foreman to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Regional Civils team based in the Midlands. Location : Midlands and South of England Contract : Permanent, Full-time What will you be responsible for? As a Site Foreman you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team, reporting to the Project Manager you will support them in delivering a programme of works spanning the Canal & River Trust, and similar natured clients with river, canal, and reservoir assets. Projects will vary from emergency schemes, maintenance, and capital works. The role covers a national framework, the role will likely involve the successful candidate to stay away within the area to successfully deliver the works. The role is site based. Travel and hotel expenses paid. Your day to day will include: Depending on the size of the project, for smaller projects you will be responsible for the performance of the site as site lead, and for larger schemes supporting the Site Manager/Agent to ensure successful delivery Implementation and monitoring of SHE policies and procedures of direct and supply chain workforce, along with site incident management / escalation. Plan and measure day to day work activities for effective utilisation of direct and supply chain resources to meet short-term and contract programme milestones. Ensure the works are delivered in accordance with quality procedures, such that they are delivered defect free. Report site progress to the Project Manager Draft the Construction Phase Plan, and other site documentation, for approval by the Project Manager as well as developing and maintaining quality standards set out in the Project Execution Plan and Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP). What are we looking for ? This role of Site Foreman is great for you if: Industry experience working on capital projects. 5 Day - Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate. Hold full UK Driving Licence. Working knowledge of SharePoint, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
