Working Monday – Friday shift pattern - 8:30am – 5pm or 9am – 5:30pm
What you'll do on a typical day:
1. Managing the day-to-day operations over a wide range of key accounts and general customers, dealing with both import and export – multi modal.
2. You will be responsible for submitting documentation to HMRC, monitoring progress, and resolving any queries through communication with our customers or internal XPO management.
3. You will engage with different stakeholders and customers ensuring a high level of service throughout all operational tasks.
4. Follow customer and internal SOPs, SLAs and KPI management.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
5. Essential: Previous experience working for a freight forwarder – imports & exports within 2 or more multi modal areas (Air, Land or Sea).
6. Essential: Customs experience – understanding processes.
7. Essential: The ability to pick up new systems
8. Essential: Positive attitude and drive for continuous improvement.
9. Essential: Exceptional customer service skills and confidence on the phone, coupled with effective written and verbal communication abilities, are crucial for success in this role.
10. Desirable: experience in a supervisory level – stepping up, leading & coaching teams.
