Occupational Therapist (12 month FTC)
Salary: £40,376 - £55,557 PER ANNUM (above NHS rates of pay!)
Contract: 12 MONTH MATERNITY FTC
Working Hours: MON – FRI 9AM – 5PM
Location: MUCH HADHAM, HERTFORDSHIRE
About the role
At St Elizabeth’s, we put the children and young people we support at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we are seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to join our friendly, well-established multi-disciplinary therapy team for a period of 12 months to provide maternity cover. This role will see you independently assess, develop and implement individual specialist programmes for individuals with learning disabilities and/or behavioural related needs across St Elizabeth’s, to effectively meet their changing needs.
About You
You will use your highly specialist knowledge and interpretative skills to continually monitor, evaluate and modify treatment plans and structure care plans based on evidence and best practice. A professional in your field, you will have experience within a range of clinical settings and will have worked with adults and children who have epilepsy, learning disabilities and complex physical needs. A sensory qualification would also be advantageous. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy, is HCPC registered, and is looking to gain experience in a unique residential and educational setting.
