Position Summary:
The UK Sales Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Head Of Sales and Account Manager with the day-to-day administrative support needs of the business in the UK; in addition to supporting the office and other needs within the UK showroom and offices. This candidate is expected to support the management of the showroom organization, cleanliness, and presentation. The UK Sales Assistant will also be responsible for daily communication with the team and periodically with accounts, regarding inventory reports, sales reports, system reporting, Joor reporting, and checklists. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for market prep-support, aftermarket follow-up support, support with recaps and reporting, and customer communication.
Responsibilities:
Account Management:
* Support the administrative needs of the accounts: product info template completion, copy completion etc. RTV support-complete RTV form, audit submissions and make notes specific to styles season and MD eligibility.
* Manage Order Logs, immediate order tracking, core replenishment tracking etc. Audit and send OC’s, cancellation summaries, and style changes.
Market appointments:
* Create meeting planners for market appointments and communicate with accounts regarding market scheduling.
* Sample coordination/management Support market prep (Showroom bookings, budget upkeep, travel booking) and pack up. Support the sales appointments (take notes on Joor, dress models, help tidy up the showroom between appointments etc.) Ordering catering, drinks, and market support supplies.
Reporting & Recapping:
* Support Account Manager and Head Of with daily administrative support. Responsible for updating weekly selling and partnering with the Head Of to suggest potential re-order, swap, return opportunities that help drive business. Review weekly shipping report with Canada Customer Service Rep and comment with notes/callouts. Support Revenue Reporting and forecasting.
Other Responsibilities:
* Update UK style selling, update global selling recaps. Respond to all administrative support requests from the Account Manager and Commercial Director. Sample coordination/sample check-in, check-out. Support market prep and pack up. Customer communication support where needed. Updating monthly shipping report with notes for CS. Support coop requests and or paperwork as directed. Partner with Sales Manager to complete market selling recaps and end of season retail selling recaps. Work in store and support retail coordinators when warranted (Sales Assistant should anticipate being inducted and able to support RC’s when needed or for pop-up/event prep). Know and understand how to update weekly retail sales recap. Assist in Selling market set up and pack up-on call for misc. support during market. Supporting sample hand off from Sales to PR. Support Accounts in building and sharing weekly stock lists/press blasts/immediate initiatives. Responsible for keeping account information clearly organized – past selling, purchase orders, RA’s, exclusives, etc. Responsible for accurately processing and checking all orders within given deadlines. Process and track all returns and accurately log information. Joor – Responsible for Joor updates and auditing. Responsible for Joor order notes in each market appointment. Responsible for order submission through Joor. Maintaining Joor line sheets, pricing, style changes.
Daily communication with clients and completion of administrative/back-office requests.
Qualifications:
* 1-2 years’ experience required in wholesale sales or retail sales, with exposure to wholesale sales; ideally in contemporary, premium denim or emerging designer in Canada. Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Word. Experience working with Joor or Full Circle a plus, but not required. Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to follow up. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Strong customer service skills. Creative thinker and business driver.
