What you'll be doing
As a Go to Market Manager, you will be accountable for the overall Go to Market launch approach and plan for key Consumer initiatives. The role involves working closely with all Consumer and wider organisational stakeholders (on occasion, including 3rd parties) to pull together the GTM delivery plan for all new segment propositions, devices and trading activity aligned to the Consumer Playbook Annual Plan, and within the Vision to Value process. Crucially this role will own the end-to-end delivery, leading cross functional stakeholder working group, gathering inputs and collaborating to create a cohesive plan for each launch that delivers against the Consumer business targets.
The Go to Market Manager will motivate and lead their cross functional project teams to successfully deliver all initiatives assigned whilst driving key business outcomes. Your ability to plan and prioritise your workload, in a fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment, will be critical to success.
Key accountabilities:
1. Visible and proactive ownership of the GTM plan for all assigned initiatives.
2. Define and create a working group for each initiative required for successful launch and delivery of the business case, constantly reassess through lifecycle.
3. Manage stakeholder engagement across multiple organisational boundaries personally influencing key stakeholders, and ensuring they are kept informed.
4. Direct and motivate the cross-functional team by creating a clear, shared sense of purpose and keeping them informed of all plans and issues.
5. Identify and manage risks, challenges, and dependencies, proactively intervening to remove roadblocks.
6. Make appropriate business decisions that benefit the delivery and Vodafone, but able to escalate when required. Compiling clear and concise options and recommendation for senior leaders.
7. Ensuring all initiatives are fully tested and launch criteria is achieved prior to hosting formal go decision. This may require key stakeholder agreement to compromise and/or process workarounds to mitigate risks.
Who you are
We are looking for someone with Go To Market experience and leadership qualities - ability to direct and motivate, inspire confidence, command respect.
You will also have:
1. Strong communication skills - succinct and meaningful, with impact.
2. Commercial understanding/acumen of business KPI's.
3. Building strong relationships with senior management, suppliers, peers and project team.
4. Proven track record of working cross functionally and holding people/teams to account for deliverables.
5. Pragmatic, flexible and able to change tactics to fit the current situation.
6. Experience in dealing with third parties/suppliers.
7. Have in depth knowledge of driving out the best customer experience.
