To support our growth and expanding customer base, we are seeking a Decking Warehouse Operative to work as part of a team based at our Fareham depot (Hamps).
Warehousing, logistics, and decking installation skills are preferable, but training can be provided to the right person. Travel and overnights may occasionally be required.
Must hold a UK clean full driving licence. Forklift licence preferred (otherwise training can be provided).

Role
To work closely with the Operations Manager and our fitting teams covering all aspects of warehousing, logistics, deliveries, and decking installation preparations.
Ability to work on your own or as part of a team, use your own initiative, and be trustworthy and reliable.
Practical warehousing and logistics knowledge is desired; additional decking fabrication skills would be useful; however, training can be provided for the right person.
* Attention to detail is essential.
* Ability to manage stock efficiently across sites and stock movement, prepare decking “kits” accurately, read site surveys and installation plans accurately, and complete job check sheets is a must.
* Communicating changes in received orders to relevant parties.
* Monitoring workshop production outputs.
* Stock management/inventory levels/recording of goods in & out across all sites.
* Ensuring daily stock level recording is accurate.
* Stock forecasting.
* Workshop/warehouse security.
* Reporting on product rejections, identifying reasons, and associated costs.
* Creating, implementing, and managing workshop/warehouse procedures.
* Carry out ongoing reviews of logistics and warehousing practices, recommending improved solutions to key business stakeholders.
* Communicating with the Operations Coordinator and fitting teams to ensure products and materials are accurate and ready for collection.
* Maintenance and servicing of all tools and machinery on and off site.
* Health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.
Salary is £28k - £30k depending on experience. 28 days annual holidays, including Bank Holidays.
