Our client a well established company near Bournemouth in the Christchurch area of Dorset is recruiting for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join the professional and friendly team on a full or a part-time basis. This is a newly created full-time or part-time Payroll opportunity that will suit an individual seeking a varied and challenging payroll specialist job.
The Payroll Specialist jobs main purpose is to ensure the timely and accurate payment of all weekly and monthly paid staff for the companies, always maintaining a highly organised way of working to ensure strict deadlines are met.
Full Time or Part-Time Payroll duties include:
* Produce analysis of pay and employment across the company
* Ensure the correct calculation of SSP, SMP, ASPP, OSPP and holiday pay including holiday pay on commission and overtime
* Ensure that payroll costs have been correctly allocated to the General Ledger and accounting system
* Check correct Auto enrolment pension deductions have been taken from weekly and monthly staff
* Ensure the correct deduction of tax and national insurance payments, and remitting of sums to HMRC
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and requirements, particularly including NMW
* Process new starters and leavers as required
