Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity to work with an exceptional Primary School based in Northamptonshire. The school are looking for an experienced and passionate HLTA to join there dedicated team.
Key Tasks:
* To complement our fantastic teachers' delivery of the national curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils and school policies and strategies.
* To work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
* To teach whole classes.
* To provide support for pupils, the teacher, and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all, by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes, and to encourage pupils to become independent learners, to provide support for their welfare, and to support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life.
* The role will be a combination of PPA cover, interventions, class support and cover for classes.
About You:
You will have:
* Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status or an equivalent qualification;
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, equivalent to GCSE grade C in English and Maths;
* A good standard written and spoken English;
* Experience of working across the primary age range within a school environment including intervention groups and whole class teaching
* Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation
* A clear understanding of the National Curriculum
