You will use your passion, expertise and excellent practice to establish and deliver high quality work to the children, young people and young adults within Lambeth. We are seeking experienced Senior Contextual Safeguarding Key Workers in the Support Team of our Contextual Safeguarding / Risk Outside the Home Service to work with young people 10- 25 years and their extended family networks. Our service is targeted for those who are at risk of extra familial harm, risk outside the home, exploitation and harm from serious youth violence. As a senior key worker, you will work to agreed plans with the case holding networks of 10 – 17-year-olds and be allocated to 18 – 25-year-olds who have agreed to a service. We are seeking experienced practitioners who are committed to inspiring young people to be the best they can be and overcome the risk of harm in the community. As a senior key worker, you will also coach, and support identified members of young people’s extended networks to be long-term mentors. The ideal candidates will have real passion, appropriate experience and solid knowledge of things that can make a positive difference to children, young people and young adults. The postholders will need the confidence and credibility to work with multiple stakeholders and build strong partnerships to meet the needs and expectations of a diverse borough.
