Description Role: Unitemps Recruitment Consultant Grade and Salary: Grade 5, £26,338 - £30,805 FTE and working pattern: 1 FTE, 35hrs per week, Monday – Friday Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term Holiday Entitlement: 28 days annual leave plus 9 buildings closed days (and Christmas Eve when it falls on a weekday) Purpose of Role The purpose of this role is to provide an internal recruitment service to hiring managers by advertising and filling casual vacancies. The role holder provides specialist advice and guidance on Unitemps matters to students and staff. They also promote the service within Heriot-Watt through networking events and social media. Key Duties & Responsibilities Carrying out eligibility to work checks and ensuring correct information is uploaded to internal database Adapt. To be the first point of contact for all students, staff members and members of the public. This includes monitoring the Unitemps inbox by prioritising requests from other administrative departments and staff and providing support to the team. Identifying technical problems and liaising with Unitemps franchise head office at the University of Warwick (Unitemps is a spin out company from the University of Warwick) to ensure systems are running smoothly. Communicating with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and creating job vacancies on the Unitemps platform that accurately reflect these requirements. Planning and implementing marketing campaigns. Assisting hiring managers with arranging interviews and shortlisting applications. Maintaining good working relationships and communications with colleagues in other areas of the University and external stakeholders. Keeping accurate records in the Unitemps and central database of all activity.
