The role
We're looking for an innovative individual to join our team and help develop, launch, and enhance products within the Prepared and B2B categories. This role will focus on creating new product offerings and continuously improving existing ones to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
What you will be doing?
* Working with all functions to develop products from customer briefs and Branston's product strategy
* Own and co-ordinate the NPD process for B2B customers and propositions including development, feasibility, customer presentation, costings, review process, and launch
* Attend, prepare and contribute in the Prepared NPD meetings
* Maintain a vast knowledge of ingredient and cuisine trends, kitchen/recipe development and seek out sustainable and convenient packaging solutions
* Assist, attend and coordinate factory trials when needed, particularly for new processes and long term projects
* Demonstrate Branston’s foodie credentials by creating great lunches for customer visits and showcasing our existing products and blue sky innovation
* Assist on other customers or categories when required
What we want from you?
* A proven passion for food, innovation and an appetite to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
* Strong ability in using MS Office
* Preferably a food industry qualification such as HACCP or Food Safety
* A proactive can-do attitude
