The main purpose of the role is to design and deliver training courses together with carrying out training needs analysis. Trained in carrying out Equality Impact Assessment on courses in accordance with legislation and force policy. Deliver courses to both internal and external students as required by management. Manage, mark and assess exams in accordance to force policy and quality assurance. Carry out Internal Verification on probationer and special constables’ exam assessments to maintain processes are adhered to and report any errors to line management. Undertake professional development where considered relevant and necessary such as the “Foundation Module”. Attend and deliver training courses within the force area meeting customer needs. Provide support and advice to local representatives. Compliance with all aspects of Diversity, Health and Safety and Data Protection. Prioritise work in accordance to changes in force policies. Facilitate MSFT in accordance to force policy. You should have Diploma in Higher Education or similar (can be completed whilst in post). A Full driving licence essential. This full time post is temporary for up to 18 months and will require Standard Recruitment Vetting. You will work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.
