ELECTRICIANS MATE ROLE AVALIABLE IN EDINBURGH
COMMERCIAL PROJECT
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Electrician's Mate to join our team on a large-scale commercial project in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience and work alongside experienced electricians on a high-profile commercial development. As an Electrician's Mate, you will assist in a variety of tasks including installation, maintenance, and general electrical support.
Electricians Mate Key Responsibilities:
* Assist electricians with the installation of electrical systems and components for a commercial project.
* Support the electrical team with the preparation and delivery of materials to the work areas.
* Ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are safely stored and readily available for the electricians.
* Work closely with the Electricians to carry out general site duties such as cable pulling, tray installation, and conduit bending.
* Help maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols on-site.
* Assist in testing and inspecting electrical installations and equipment under the supervision of the Electricians.
* Ensure that work areas are kept tidy and that electrical components are organized and in good condition.
Electricians Mate Key Requirements:
* Valid CSCS card
* Previous experience as an Electrician’s Mate or in a similar role within the construction or electrical sector is preferred.
* Good understanding of basic electrical principles and construction site practices.
* A proactive and hardworking attitude, with a willingness to learn from experienced Electricians.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Awareness of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
* Physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
* Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with team members and site supervisors
