The Weighbridge Operative operates as part of the Waste Operations Team and is responsible for the general security of the site during operations along with the processing of all waste and general deliveries, plus the despatch of residues and general equipment required to operate the Rivenhall IWMF facility.If you're looking for a meaningful career with a company that’s driving sustainability forward, join us at Indaver and be part of something bigger.Role and ResponsibilitiesWork flexibly within the Waste Operations Team to deliver operational excellence across all waste, residue and vehicle logistics operations.Processing of all deliveries and despatches to/from the facility to ensure that a complete audit trail exists for all vehicle movements, including appropriate details of contents and intended locations.Flexibility to support Tipping Hall operations and provide additional support during periods of unusual activity or production disturbancesAlways be on the lookout for alternative ways of doing things, that make operations safer, improve quality, efficiency etc.Qualifications & Experience requiredGCSE educatedPreferably educated, in a logistics or waste management-related area of study but applicable experience will be acceptable in place of qualificationsIdeally, weighbridge related experience within an integrated operationMust be IT Literate - knowledge of computer-based weighbridge equipment would be beneficialMust demonstrate strong customer service skillsExperience operating the following mobile plant: Forklift; Telehandler; Front Loader; Bobcat Skid Steer etc., ideally in Industrial, Agricultural, Warehouse, Construction etc. type environments.Machinery operations licenses will be advantageous, but not essential as training will be providedExperience with crane operation would be beneficial but not essentialMust have own transport, due to the location of the plant Must be eligible to work in the UK (full-time).
