We are looking to recruit a Digital Project Manager within our Digital Services Project team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong technical background and Project Management experience to work on supporting the delivery of a wide array of Digital Technology projects at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB).
This post requires a sound understanding of the Organisation and its business and in-depth knowledge of NHS IM&T policies and procedures.
The post holder will need to be:
* Customer focused with good communication skills
* In possession of excellent time management skills along with the ability to work on their own initiative with little supervision.
* Ability to work under pressure, to tight timescales.
* Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure successful delivery of the Digital Programme
* Ability to work as part of an effective team.
* Have a clear understanding of Information Technology and the impact this has within the Trust.
Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week with support for Go Lives indicating weekend working.
Main duties of the job
Based at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
* Effective scoping, planning, implementation, delivery & monitoring of a range of concurrent projects, on a Trust wide basis.
* Producing accurate and well-structured project documentation (incl. Project Brief, Project Initiation Document, Project Plans, End Stage Reports etc.) in line with PRINCE2.
* Developing work plans, schedules and targets for projects.
* Organising and chairing project planning and progress meetings, creating agendas and completing action logs.
* Overseeing project communication to ensure team members understand their roles and tasks, and key stakeholders are kept informed of project progress.
* Reporting project progress to senior management and advising on options to address project issues, as they arise.
