Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Delivery
Lead all aspects of event planning, coordination, and execution, including scheduling, logistics, and documentation.
Conduct meetings and consultations with clients to understand their event requirements and translate those into actionable plans.
Collaborate with internal teams such as commercial, food & beverage, cleaning, health & safety, and others to ensure flawless event delivery.
Oversee event setup, live periods, and breakdown, ensuring all equipment is in place and any required remedial measures are addressed.
Provide exceptional client service by resolving any issues or concerns that arise before, during or after events.
Maintain accurate event records, including attendance figures, event costs, and client feedback.
Ensure adherence to company procedures and health & safety legislation.
Produce comprehensive event documentation and ensure smooth communication across departments. Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, working alongside their commercial Account Manager to exceed client expectations.
Maintain clear communication on timelines, priorities, and event requirements, ensuring alignment between internal teams and clients.
Provide constructive feedback to service providers to elevate the quality of service.
Share knowledge and collaborate with other event managers to continuously improve service delivery. Financial Management
Manage event costs, forecasting, and PO creation to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Maximise opportunities for revenue to positively impact financial performance.
Oversee financial closure of events, including reconciling service orders and assisting the finance team with invoicing.
Team Collaboration
Support and collaborate with team members on events, fostering growth and development opportunities.
Participate in department meetings, proactively contributing ideas to improve service delivery.
Assist with other department initiatives or venue projects as required. Reporting
Create key event documentation, including pre- and post-show reports, debriefs, and financial reports.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including being on-site during key event periods. Experience:
3+ years of experience in event planning and management within a large-scale venue/events/conference/exhibition setting.
Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with food & beverage operations, audiovisual equipment, and event production is a plus.
