We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide expert support to schools within a London Borough on an interim basis. This role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver strategic HR support to a range of educational institutions, with a focus on people management, policy development, and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide HR support and consultancy to schools within the borough, advising on a range of HR issues including performance management, employee relations, and staffing restructures.
* Support schools in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with council guidelines and best practice.
* Work closely with senior leadership teams within schools to develop effective people strategies that enhance staff engagement, performance, and retention.
* Advise on recruitment, workforce planning, and the implementation of training and development programs.
* Ensure compliance with employment law, health and safety regulations, and the council’s equalities and diversity policies.
* Manage complex HR cases and provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance, and performance management issues.
* Collaborate with school leadership and council teams to drive strategic people-related initiatives that support the overall goals of the schools and the local authority.
