We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Huntingdon who are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant. This is a full-time permanent position, and our client can offer a hybrid working model. To be successful, you will have experience working in a similar position.
Typical duties include:
* Processing bank reconciliations
* Supporting the preparation of VAT returns
* Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
* Liaising external auditors to assist with year-end
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function
* Maintaining the purchase ledger function
* Performing any other ad-hoc tasks for the wider team
You will have:
* A professional accounting qualification, or working towards (Likely AAT)
* Ability to manage your own workload effectively
* Experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication, both written and verbal
