We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join our Exeter office. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, playing a crucial role in representing our firm, known for its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and sustainable growth.
* Full-time, permanent position in Exeter.
* Opportunity to work with a leading international law firm.
* Flexible working hours to accommodate events and shift cover. Working hours 09:30 - 17:30 (with flexibility for events/shift cover; reception operation times are 08:00 – 17:30).
The Role:
As a Receptionist, you will:
* Deliver a professional reception service to clients, partners, and employees.
* Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
* Meet and greet clients and visitors with a warm welcome.
* Handle incoming calls, redirecting them or taking messages as needed.
* Set up telephone, conference calls, and AV facilities.
* Ensure meeting rooms are client-ready and manage catering needs.
* Assist with marketing events and make travel arrangements.
* Support the General Office/Office Manager with administrative tasks.
The Candidate:
* To excel as a Receptionist, you should have:
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision.
* Proactive initiative and a flexible, committed attitude.
* Strong attention to detail and a logical approach.
* A professional appearance and positive outlook.
* Previous office and reception experience is essential.
