KIITE is responsible for supporting educational delivery and evaluation through core functions of curriculum and learning design, learning technology and academic development. As a Curriculum Designer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our recently established curriculum design process, designed to enhance programme quality, consistency and efficiency. You will work with diverse stakeholders, including academic teams to lead programme design sprints, prior to validation and re-validation, with a focus on a specific faculty or set of programmes. This is a highly collaborative role that requires excellent facilitation skills to keep stakeholders focused and the sprint process on track. You will have ownership of all planning and facilitation of specific programmes and will ensure key milestones are met. You will draw on your experience and knowledge of curriculum design to quality assure the process and to ensure key institutional and regulatory frameworks for curriculum design are embedded.
We are seeking three creative and resourceful Curriculum Designers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects, to join our curriculum design team within the Keele Institute of Teaching and Learning Excellence (KIITE). You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have relevant knowledge and experience of curriculum design. This is an exciting opportunity that will suit a curriculum designer or academic developer, or academic keen to be involved in programme design. You will also be involved in supporting academic development accredited programmes such as the PGCert and supporting staff with HEA Fellowship applications.
