We deliver school sessions at multiple sites across Lancashire, as well as offering an ever-expanding outreach offer into schools. We lead on a range of projects and special events throughout the year and run a successful and growing youth engagement programme. We work with a range of artists, musicians, dancers, actors, storytellers, and magicians to bring learning to life and inspire learners across age ranges.
We have a huge loans box service to help support and deepen learning and understanding in schools and libraries. We offer innovative and diverse free teacher CPD sessions. We are critical education partners and offer consultancy to other organisations nationally and internationally.

Your new role…
You will have excellent communication and critical thinking skills, with the confidence to work with a range of learners, colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
You will deliver engaging workshops to children on a range of topics across our heritage sites and Lancashire schools, sometimes in character and in costume. You may be asked to assist where needed on projects, special events, CPD, and youth engagement sessions and events.
Your work will mainly be with primary-aged children, usually during term time and weekdays. However, we also deliver within the Secondary, FE, HE, and public programme arenas.

Position: Heritage Learning Facilitator
Are you dynamic, enthusiastic, and engaging, with a passion for helping children and adults connect with culture, heritage, education, and learning?
We are currently recruiting Heritage Learning Facilitators to work across museums, archives, cultural spaces, schools, and other learning environments. We are looking for creative, confident, and dynamic people with experience working with children.
The role is casual, paid on an hourly basis, depending on the number of bookings we receive, your availability, and level of training.
