Job Description Project Engineer / Project Manager – Whisky / Drinks Industry Staff Falkirk Are you a Project Engineer or Project Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience and knowledge within the whisky / distilling / drinks industries? As we continue to grow and develop our professional services offering, we are looking for our next industry specialist to focus on the drinks industry Building on strong foundations; you will help steer the team in best practices, new clients and technical expertise. Based from our fabulous engineering hub in the heart of Scotland – Falkirk. Role Overview We are looking for someone who knows engineering / EPC within the whisky / distilling / drinks industry; someone who has been there, done it, seen it all before. You do not need to be a work winner – this is not a business development role – however, knowing the movers and shakers and being able to add to the work winning process is key. There is a good client base to start working with and building on as well as lots of bidding opportunities. Technical experience and knowledge within the engineering / project management world is essential. We are open to most backgrounds but generally find a good fit within engineers / project engineers / project managers and alike that have worked across the full project lifecycle. Based at the newly-refurbished Antonine Hub, you’ll oversee the planning, execution and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements and industry standards. You’ll play a vital role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing resources and mitigating risks to achieve project success. What we want to see in you: Project Engineer’s or Project Managers with a background in the whisky / distilling / drinks industry. Preferably from an engineering background – any discipline, or, a good understanding of engineering principles and technical engineering / design process’. Able to work with senior management on work winning / development of new work streams and identifying possible opportunities. Able to work closely with end-clients and main contractors as necessary.
