Responsibilities
1. Responsible for updating process documentation and Quality Control Plans
2. Implement and control Lean Manufacturing techniques.
3. Forecasting and reporting.
4. Ensuring plant efficiency and targets are achieved.
5. Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure production issues are resolved.
6. Demonstrate problem-solving skills, including knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma, 4M's, PDCA
7. Implement and expand concepts such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, etc., to reduce manufacturing cost and increase process quality and throughout.
8. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams and manufacturing engineers regarding manufacturing process and capability.
Experience:
9. A degree in mechanical/automotive engineering or similar (2:1 or above) or equivalent experience in a similar role
10. Implementation of safe working practices
11. Proficiency with CATIA, 3D experience is desired, but not required.
This role is low volume, high-value performance vehicle production and the right candidate will have a good understanding of this market.
Occasional travel is required, both to to off-site development facilities, within the UK and throughout Europe, therefore a flexible approach to travel is required.
This role is full-time on-site.
