Summary
Actemium UK has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Quality Inspector. The successful candidate will oversee the fabrication and testing of various systems of pipework at our Daventry Workshop, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Main Responsibilities
* Ensuring the efficient implementation of all systems in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS), including document control, risk management, Control of Records and QA/QC procedures.
* Carrying out surveillances and inspections in accordance with the Project expectations and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s).
* Preparing and maintaining Handover Dossiers and Final Certification Packages as required.
* Storing all inspection equipment and ensuring Calibration System compliance with company and client requirements.
* Maintaining Welder Qualification Certificates and issuing Weld Procedures to the Welders.
* Providing technical support for welding activities as required.
* Liaising with and controlling NDT Subcontractors, including monitoring all safety aspects and reviewing performance.
* Reviewing and reporting the weekly welding performance to the Project Manager.
* Collating details of daily welding progress.
* Liaising with subcontractors and Client’s representation.
* Completing any other duties as required in relation to skills, activities, status etc as required by the Superintendent.
* Assisting and implementing any other requirements or duties as requested by line management.
* Becoming familiar and adhering to Actemium policy/procedure and the workflows and contract details, procedures/processes required for safe and timely execution.
The Person
* Has and maintains a CSWIP welding inspector certificate among other NDT qualifications.
* Ability to build strong relationships with delivery teams and project managers.
* Substantial practical experience in quality management in a relevant business environment.
* Experience of building a quality management framework & KPI measurement.
* Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts.
* Pays attention to detail and sees things through to completion.
* Can deliver reports orally and in writing in an objective and persuasive manner.
* Has good interpersonal and communication skills and acts in an independent and professional manner with the ability to influence others including senior management.
* Is a self-starter who manages their own time and seeks to add value to their function.
* Has an enquiring and questioning approach to audit work.
* Able to command respect across the business and work closely with the Business Efficiency.
