Job Details
University Corporate Services, (Human Resources PS Connect)
We are excited to be offering this fantastic opportunity for a talented recruitment/HR professional to join us as a Recruitment Coordinator on a fixed-term basis for one year to cover a secondment.
This role is part-time (0.6 FTE) and is half of a job share, to work Wednesday-Friday. The role would be hybrid with one day on campus, ideally the Wednesday.
Supporting the University in its strategic ambitions, the recruitment team aims to attract the best talent globally, ensuring a smooth candidate experience and robust selection process. We are looking for someone who has some recruitment or general HR experience and loves supporting an organisation to attract and hire the best. We work with our Faculties and Support services to offer expertise around sourcing, selection, and candidate management. It is an exciting time to join as we begin our journey to implement a new recruitment ATS system.
What You Will Be Doing
You will take responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring that candidates and recruiting managers receive a standout service at all times. You will build strong relationships with regular recruiting managers, advising and guiding them throughout the recruitment process. You will use a variety of systems and internal processes to support our aim to find the best talent.
Teamwork is critical to the way our recruitment team operates. We are supportive, collaborative, and respectful and seek to deliver our values daily. It is a fast-paced environment, but you will join a team of Recruitment Leads, Coordinators, and Administrators who work closely together.
You
You will have a strong customer focus and the ability to advise and influence hiring managers. You will have previous experience as a recruitment coordinator or advisor, either with a recruitment agency or within an internal recruitment team, or general HR experience. The ability to juggle priorities and work to deadlines with strong attention to detail is also critical. As this role is half of a job-share, organisational skills and the ability to work well with others are essential. Knowledge or experience in the visa application process is also ideal but not essential.
Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role by clicking on the attachment above.
