About the role:
Seeking an experienced, highly motivated pension professional with strong analytical and organisational skills and experience in Risk Transfer work. The candidate will be client facing and must also have strong technical as well as written and verbal communication skills. They will need to be driven and passionate about providing a high level of service.
The candidate will be part of the Pensions Risk Transfer team within Workforce consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce high quality, technically accurate client deliverables: Ensure that all client deliverables meet high standards of quality and technical accuracy.
* Proactively manage a portfolio of clients: Drive projects forward by managing a portfolio of clients effectively.
* Establish effective working relationships: Build strong working relationships with internal team members and liaise with external advisers.
* Lead on certain aspects of the project: Take ownership of specific areas such as data management, funding updates, and production of papers.
* Contribute to coaching for junior team members: Provide guidance and coaching to junior members of the team.
* Take a proactive role in financial management: Actively manage the financial aspects of client projects.
The skills and experience we are looking for:
* Must possess an Actuarial (IFOA) Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
* Relevant UK pensions experience: Gained in an actuarial advisory team, with recent experience in Risk Transfer work.
* Excellent skills: Demonstrates strong team, organizational, and communication skills, along with plenty of self-motivation.
* Effectively works to tight deadlines
