The Reservoir Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the Reservoir Maintenance Team, responsible for all Southern Water's service reservoirs across the regions. The team handles all aspects of reservoir cleaning, inspections, maintenance, and repairs, both internally and externally. Working to a programme, they deliver vital work streams ensuring each structure’s service complies with regulatory timeframes. The role involves maintaining and reporting on the condition of Southern Water's service reservoirs and ancillary assets across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight. Responsibilities include proactively reviewing reports, APM checks, and drop tests to prepare for upcoming work, planning the team’s plant and equipment needs, and adhering to regulations and good practice guidance like UKWIR. The position requires reacting to short-notice tasks and extended hours, monitoring and improving the Health and Safety of the Reservoir Maintenance Team, and producing risk assessments and method statements for team tasks.
