The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the delivery of its ambitious strategy in the safeguarding arena. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership of the executive team and all employees, driving digital transformation to enhance service delivery, and ensuring the organization meets its KPIs and SLAs. This high-profile role requires a proven track record in strategic management, financial stewardship, and a strong focus on inclusion, diversity, and equality. The CEO will work closely with the Board, the Home Office, and other key stakeholders to maintain the organization's operational independence while aligning with government policy and the wider safeguarding agenda.
Candidates for the CEO position at the company should have a background in running a successful organization, with experience in a statutory and/or regulatory environment. Essential skills include the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders, promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, and lead with energy and enthusiasm. The role demands a leader who is comfortable in a political environment, adept at problem-solving, and can effectively manage change. The CEO will also be the Accounting Officer, with personal responsibility for financial probity and regularity, and must ensure the organization operates within the governance framework set by the Board.
