In this role, you will serve as a Teaching Assistant, providing crucial support to a diverse group of students within the classroom. You will focus on helping those with varying learning and behavioral needs, particularly those who may be struggling to adjust to a mainstream educational setting. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the school’s SENCO and classroom teacher to create progress reports, enabling you to better understand the students' development and identify those who are progressing more quickly.
We are looking for candidates who have experience working one-on-one with students with additional needs, as well as those who understand the challenges faced by pupils unfamiliar with a mainstream classroom environment. A solid understanding of safeguarding practices in a primary school context is also essential.
This full-time position offers competitive PAYE rates of £85 to £90 per day, along with weekly pay through school timesheets. The school is conveniently located in Stoke, making it easily accessible, and you will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule. An immediate start is available following registration with our team.
