An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic and growing team in Sherborne! This role offers a perfect balance of 60% small animal and 40% farm animal work, giving you the chance to handle a variety of cases across consultations, diagnostics, surgeries, and farm fertility work.
With a brand-new, fully equipped site boasting 4 consult rooms, separate cat and dog waiting areas, dental suite, imaging room, and state-of-the-art DR digital X-ray, this practice is set up to ensure both a fantastic working environment and outstanding patient care.
The farm animal side includes fertility work, emergency calls, and TB testing, with access to advanced equipment such as large animal scanners and bull/ram fertility kits, alongside a farm theatre and recovery pen. With 12 veterinary surgeons, 7 qualified nurses, 2 trainee nurses, and a fantastic support team, you'll work within a collaborative and supportive practice committed to both your professional development and the local community. Regular farmer meetings, charity events, and farm conferences make this role perfect for someone passionate about rural veterinary care.
