About the Restructuring and Insolvency Team As a graduate trainee in the Corporate Restructuring Advisory team, you will learn about the common, industry-specific indicators of financial distress. You will receive training to provide high-quality investigations, draft accurate advice, and prepare statutory and stakeholder-specific reports. You will develop the capability to advise and help clients buy and sell businesses and assist in Administration or Liquidation processes. About the Role As a trainee, here's what will await you during your three-year training contract: During Your First Two Years: Join and gain experience within the Restructuring and Insolvency department. Undertake in-depth financial analysis and document reviews, working closely with managers and partners. Assist with asset recovery, strategy implementation, and stakeholder engagement. Prepare targeted data for report drafting. Develop an understanding of financial and accounting disputes in various sectors. Produce high-quality research and presentation packs for client meetings. Assist on building financial models and undertaking financial analysis. Take ownership of administration tasks across all aspects of an Insolvency situation. Communicate with creditors and third-party agents. Collect information from stakeholders and assess relevance. Assist experienced colleagues with managing their portfolio of cases. During Your Third Year: Complete working drafts of reports allocated to you. Self-review your work to ensure it is client-ready. Aid less experienced team members. Attend meetings with stakeholders and contribute to discussions. Support project management by ensuring timetables are followed. Gain experience in financial portfolio management and risk management. Be a point of contact for clients and third parties. Prepare documents for business development meetings. Study for and sit the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency exam. By your final year, you will have your own portfolio of cases and will learn to undertake in-depth analysis of a Company's financial performance.
