Role Overview
This role is pivotal in developing and managing a new Sameday and AOG service, leveraging Third-Party and Circle Express resources. The Assistant Sameday Controller will ensure the seamless operation of client Sameday and AOG requirements through the Circle Express network and subcontractors, ensuring services meet or exceed client expectations and KPIs. The role includes supervising staff, improving operational quality, and enhancing efficiency at the depot.
Key Responsibilities:
The following are the primary duties of this role, though this list is not exhaustive:
1. Serve as a primary point of contact for Sameday/AOG services for Polar Park clients.
2. Efficiently manage resources to provide exceptional customer service.
3. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to optimize operational efficiency for Circle Express.
4. Ensure accurate storage and timely retrieval of key information.
5. Communicate relevant updates to individuals, teams, managers, and clients effectively.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with Sameday/AOG clients.
7. Gather and analyse information to enable informed decision-making.
8. Assist in the induction and training of team members as needed.
Experience and Qualifications
1. Proven experience in Sameday or On-Demand courier services.
2. Strong client and driver support background.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of courier and aviation security requirements.
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
5. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
6. Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
7. Ability to develop client relationships and provide dynamic pricing solutions.
