Working within the Authentication division of De La Rue as part of the Commercial & Procurement team, you will report directly to the Head of Procurement and work closely with them to establish the right governance and controls to support our evolving business. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will take specific ownership of the following areas: Creation of a new contracts register to ensure we have one single source of the truth. Lead ongoing supplier due diligence and qualification to make sure we are working with only the best suppliers for our customer base. Supporting the Head of Procurement, Authentication, to maintain our policies, procedures and governance which are critical to the success of our department to ensure we are compliant with all internal and external audit requirements. Analysis on Procurement spend to turn raw data into usable information which will support decision making around costs, efficiency and supplier relationships. Contract type: Maternity Cover – 12 months Working hours: Full Time – 36.5 hrs per week Base location: Basingstoke, Hampshire Skills, Qualifications & Experience MCIPS qualified Demonstrable experience in converging and simplifying procurement strategies to ensure predictable execution, manage risk and reduce costs. Ability to develop performance measures for category and sub-categories, to deliver cross functional value chain improvements and to promote alignment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience working internationally, and a good professional command of English language. Comfortable with, and able to thrive in conditions of change and complexity. Influential and assertive Strong analytical and qualitative skills. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload. Ability to facilitate multiple activities at any one time, and effectively communicate current positions.
