We are looking for a Project Consultant
Location: Hammersmith and Brent with the some working from home
Hours: 21-28 Hours per week
Contract: 3 months (from start of contract)

About the role:
Advance are seeking a Project Consultant to work short-term within its domestic abuse team.
Working alongside the Director of Services the project consultant will help ensure Advance s domestic abuse services remain safe and effective during a period of transition, whilst also taking on specific project work to support ongoing team development.
As the Project Consultant, you will provide senior leadership to the domestic abuse team, supporting staff to thrive. In addition, you will lead on a review of the department specific training offer and guidance documentation for staff and implement necessary changes to ensure staff are upskilled appropriately for their roles.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Alongside the Director of Services, support the domestic abuse team to thrive, ensuring services continue to be safe, effective, and high quality
Provide interim leadership, including line management, to managers within the team
Support the Director of Services, and Senior Service Managers, to ensure all services are meeting contractual targets
Undertake a review of the current departmental training offer, working alongside the learning and development manager to implement any necessary changes
Undertake a thorough review of guidance documentation available to staff, ensuring it is current, accessible, and streamlined across services
About You:
We are seeking someone with the following experience, knowledge and skills:
Experience of working within the domestic abuse sector at a senior management level
Experience of short-term project management, ideally within a charity or related setting
Experience of supporting teams in busy services to thrive, including supporting teams through periods of change
A sound understanding of safeguarding adults and children, including crisis management
An understanding of the training and development needs of domestic abuse staff and how best to meet them
The ability to demonstrate compassionate leadership and foster team cohesion and wellbeing
Strong project management skills, the ability to hit the ground running and work autonomously towards agreed goals
