Area Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to oversee supported accommodation services, ensuring high-quality care and operational excellence.

Salary: £41,860.22 (£43,235.42 after 18 months of successful performance)
Location: Derby
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, hybrid working)
Contract : Permanent

About the Role
As an Area Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of managers across a designated geographical area, ensuring that supported accommodation services are delivered to the highest standards. You will be responsible for meeting contractual requirements, maintaining safe operational practices, and achieving performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, motivation, and support to managers, fostering a positive and effective work environment.
- Ensure services meet key performance indicators and contractual obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement in care and support services.
- Manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to promote Riverside's services.
- Ensure compliance with policies, including safeguarding, health & safety, and GDPR.
- Lead on recruitment, training, and professional development for staff.
- Implement service review processes for ongoing improvement.
About You
We are looking for a skilled and experienced leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality supported accommodation services.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience managing supported accommodation services.
- At least two years in a leadership or management role.
- Ability to set objectives and manage performance effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A values-based approach, with a caring, empathetic, and resilient attitude.
- Competency in IT systems and data analysis for service improvements.
Desirable:
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
- Budget management experience.
- Contract management knowledge.
- Formal qualification in care, support, or housing.
