About the role
Working within the Healthcare Technology team, we're looking for a Business Analyst to support across a diverse landscape of Opticians and Healthcare applications and initiatives. You will be at the centre of Boots Healthcare Technology, delivering the best solutions that put our customer needs first.
On a day to day basis:
1. You will work collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders and using a variety of techniques as suitable to define, capture and prioritise the backlog of requirements and create user stories, including functional, non-functional and IT operational requirements for the project.
2. You will be analysing business requests, identifying and evaluating options for improving business systems and processes, ensuring the customers' needs are always at the forefront of our solutions.
3. You will be planning the business analysis work for projects by defining timescales, milestones and dependencies for the work to proceed successfully in an Agile or Waterfall manner.
4. You will work in a team of other Business Analysts on large / complex pieces of work, ensuring that the vision, scope and requirements are aligned across the entire project.
5. You will support the Lead Business Analyst to engage with business functions to understand their strategy and business plans to formulate product roadmaps.
6. You will be supporting test teams and project managers with the evaluation of defects and prioritisation of these defects.
7. You will represent the business and their requirements through the project lifecycle.
What you'll need to have
1. You will have experience as a Business Analyst and will take accountability for projects of varying scale and inspiring the implementation of outstanding solutions.
2. You will manage, influence, negotiate and collaborate with a variety of partners at all levels in the business.
3. You will work toward a collaborative understanding to deliver the best product for our customers whilst managing a variety of projects and deadlines.
4. You will have experience working within both Agile and Waterfall software delivery environments.
It would be great if you also have
1. Experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Agile Business Analyst.
2. Experience working in a Opticians, healthcare, pharmacy or retail environment.
3. A recognised qualification in business analysis.
