As a Workspace Engineer - Collaboration, specialising in collaboration, your role will involve supporting the implementation and delivery of Softcat's collaboration and communications environment, working in conjunction with our Managed Service providers and wider IT team As a Workspace Engineer - Collaboration, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and optimisation of Softcat's unified communications environment. Collaborating with Managed Service providers and internal IT teams, you will leverage your expertise to enhance our organization's communication and collaboration systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and Cisco hardware is essential to succeed in this role. Additionally, experience working closely with cloud telephony providers is required to ensure seamless integration and service delivery. As a Workspace Engineer - Collaboration, you'll be responsible for: Manage, maintain and optimise Softcat's collaboration and communication environments to ensure seamless operations Create and maintain high quality technical documentation Working alongside L&D to create and deliver training for the IT Teams and the organisation Leverage your expertise to identify root causes of technical issues and propose effective solutions Act as an escalation point for end user issues relating to the collaboration and communication environments, working to established service level agreements. We'd love you to have Strong experience working with collaboration platforms, e.g. Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, Webex Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365/Teams administration, including troubleshooting, migrations, and upgrades.
