An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual to become our new Regional Manager – North East. Home-based in the North East/Aberdeenshire and working remotely with the full staff team and membership, you’ll build the profile of our organisation, create and maintain relationships with a variety of individuals and organisations and support our members’ businesses and community projects.
You will need to be a great communicator, skilled at bringing people together to deliver shared goals, possess a full driving licence, and most importantly, be excited about seeing rural Scotland thrive!

Line Manager: Head of Regions and Regional Chair
Based at: Home-based/NE Scotland – Aberdeenshire – with regular travel across the region
Salary Scale: £29,049 - £34,858 (pro-rata)
Hours: Part-time: 21 hours per week
Holidays: 32 days per year including 6 bank holidays pro rata

General Overview
The Regional Manager will work with the local Chair, North East committee, local member hubs and SLE Regional, Policy, Communications and Business teams to deliver an agreed regional workplan. Key areas of regional activity to deliver are:
• Engaging with members, supporting their businesses and representing their interests
• Promoting the positive contribution of the members
• Building the profile of membership and the organisation
• Promoting best practice
