We are pleased to confirm the below opportunity to join or conscientious and innovative team in Scunthorpe: Warehouse Operator - FLT Driver (3-shift rotation) Main purpose of job To operate a forklift truck in a safe and effective manner assisting the Logistics function to both receive and dispatch goods and maintain accurate stock locations Main missions and results
* Adhere to the IAC Global Safety Standards, the site Safety rules and the FLT Safety Instructions & Operation guidelines at all times.
* Ensure that all goods are placed in the proper locations and related paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
* Follow the procedures in relation to scanning, locating, stacking, re-packing, unloading & loading at all times.
* Report any hazards and defects in control measures, including safe systems of work to their manager.
* Collect/deliver FG both to production and in the Warehouse.
* Load customer vehicles.
* Scan all FG/WIP in transit through the Warehouse.
* Pick customer products for external delivery.
* Perform all duties compliant with H&S rules.
* Work as part of the Warehouse team to ensure uninterrupted operation.
* Support cycle counting / stock take requirements.
* Support continuous improvement activities.
* Shopfloor FLT - deliver packaging/parts across all units, remove FG/WIP.
* Putaway FLT - put FG into Warehouse locations.
* Pick FLT - Pick for Toyota/JLR/Others finished preparation for dispatch.
* Pick FLT - Pick within the Service Warehouse.
* Dispatch FLT - loading of Toyota/JLR/Other vehicles for FG dispatch.
* Quality Gate - Support of FG movements in and out of Quality Gate.
* Scanning - Utilisation of RF/Smartscan systems.
* Housekeeping/5S - keep work areas to a safe and tidy standard.
* FG counts - support/perform FG counts for both cycle counting and stock take.
* FLT Safety check - perform FLT safety checks at usage, report any issues.
* FLT maintenance - Keep the FLT in a good state, report any issues and clean the FLT each Friday night shift.
* Report any near misses/accidents immediately to SLS.
* To be prepared to carry out other non-FLT related tasks as and when the business requires.
Preferred skills and experience Essential:
* Prospective candidates must have a current FLT license to be considered for this position.
Numerate and literate to minimum O Level / GCSE "C" or equivalent.
* Worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Problem solving.
* Risk Management.
* A "Can Do" attitude with propensity to problem solve.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks on shift.
* Ability to multitask.
* Computer literate including MS Office.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Desirable:
* Material Handling qualification (Desirable).
* FLT Reach and\or counterbalance License (Desirable).
* IOSH\NEBOSH trained (Desirable).
* Working within a Goods In Operation (Desirable).
* WMS system exposure (Desirable).
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies - 5S, Kaizen, SMED etc (Desirable).

What you'll get You will receive a competitive salary ranging plus company holiday pay. Working hours are 40 per week, on a 3-shift rotation; after onboarding, this begins with a week of afternoons (14:00-22:00), followed by mornings (06:00-14:00) and nights (22:00-06:00).
