Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of night care assistants, ensuring that all residents receive the highest standards of care in a safe and supportive environment. You will provide guidance and support to junior staff and assist them in their duties when necessary.
Personalized Care: Provide direct personal care to residents, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and feeding. You will ensure that residents' individual care plans are followed and updated accordingly.
Medication Administration: Safely administer medications in accordance with residents' care plans and regulatory guidelines. You will ensure accurate record-keeping for all medication administered.
Health & Safety: Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both residents and staff. Report any incidents, changes in health conditions, or concerns regarding resident well-being to the senior management team.
Resident Engagement: Foster a warm, friendly, and supportive atmosphere, engaging with residents to provide companionship and ensure they are comfortable and settled for the night.
Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Document any changes in residents' conditions or care needs.
Quality Assurance: Participate in regular reviews of care practices and contribute to audits to ensure that the highest standards of care are consistently maintained.
