What the job involves The role involves overseeing all care proceedings and pre-proceedings within Powys County, ensuring that all court reports are submitted on time with attention to high standards, minimizing delays for children through effective care planning. Responsibilities include providing practical assistance and support to less experienced social workers in writing court reports, developing and maintaining databases to monitor proceedings, attending care planning meetings, and maintaining effective communication with CAFCASS. Participation in Legal Planning Meetings and ensuring services are delivered within a framework of Equality and Diversity are also key aspects of the role.
