Work type: This is a permanent role, working full time, 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday between a working window of 8:00am-6:00pm.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Careers and Funded Learning Programmes Compliance Co-ordinator to join the People Team at Yorkshire Water. You will support the Early Careers and Funding Learning Workstream delivering programmes within Yorkshire Water through the coordination of activities and learning interventions.

Where you fit in:
As our Early Careers & Funding Learning Programmes Compliance Co-ordinator, you will support the Early Careers and Funding Learning Workstream delivering programmes within Yorkshire Water through the coordination of activities and learning interventions.
You will oversee day-to-day activities liaising with stakeholders as necessary and provide coordination and compliance expertise to support all funded programmes.
You will –
* Act as the first point of contact for Yorkshire Water Funded Learning and Programmes with the ability to deal with a wide range of queries around any of the Early Careers and Funded Learning programmes we run.
* Arrange and monitor attendance for meetings with key internal and external stakeholders taking notes and sharing/carrying out actions points when needed.
* Complete and monitor the full range of administrative activities to support funded learning and the Graduate programmes (including interns and industry placements) including the completion of any funding documentation needed to achieve outcomes.
* Responsible for coordination of events to support onboarding and programme completion including (but not exclusive to) assessment centres, guest speakers, inductions, pensions, unions, external providers (e.g. Brathay), social catch-ups, careers events which may be out of hours and will require some flexibility.
* Ensure all compliance requirements are adhered to with liaison with compliance partners as and when needed, reporting on activity and escalating issues to the funded learning lead where required.
* Undertake all procurement, contract Ariba and SAM processes required to support all programmes including paying suppliers, ordering PPE, IT and other equipment needed.
* Responsible for the Funded Learning and Early Careers diary and mailbox.
* Maintain the Early Careers and Funded Learning Performance Excellence dashboard through maintaining the workstream tracker and Digital Apprenticeship Portal, amongst other systems.
* Liaise with relevant external bodies including regulators and education agencies for purposes of compliance, audit and data reporting.
* Act as a point of contact for all funded learning candidates to answer queries around process, compliance and signposting.
What skills and qualifications you will need:
* Previous experience of working in a learning setting and the importance of funding rules and administrative compliance, ideally we are looking for previous experience of working in Learning & Development Administration.
* Able to co-ordinate events and meetings with multiple stakeholders.
* Previous experience of working in a customer-facing role.
* Ability to work under own initiative to inform continuous improvement and resolve issues.
* Knowledge of safeguarding.
You will also benefit from having:
* Knowledge of Apprentice levy funding rules and processes.
* Knowledge of funding pots such as the Adult Education Budget.
* Knowledge of T Levels.
