Job Description
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a successful business based in the Hessle area on a permanent basis.

The Employee will hold the position of Finance Assistant where you will chase payments from customers, monitor overdue debtors and settle balances on accounts, whilst analysing / understanding financial accounts.
\n\n
Responsibilities:
\n\n
\n\t
* Providing analysis on finance accounts including reading P & L / accounts
\n\t
* Drive and monitor daily Credit Control activities (including debtor administration)
\n\t
* Contact customers regarding overdue accounts to settle balances immediately in full
\n\t
* Monitor overdue debtors, identify and action significant collection risk issues
\n\t
* Communicate proactively and clearly with internal and external customers on significant issues to indicate progress and to resolve issues
\n\t
* Ensure that allocation issues are handle satisfactorily
\n\t
* Actively note and document customer payment issues and communications
\n\t
* Perform in accordance with business policy and procedures
\n\t
* Handle ad hoc issues and projects, whenever required
\n\t
* Creation customer in the system
\n\t
* Approval quotes in orders in respecting financial situation from the customer
\n\t
* Approval small credit limit and payment terms standard for the customers
\n
\n\n
Skills and experience required:
\n\n
\n\t
* Essential experience with analysing financial accounts/ reading P&L/ accounts
\n\t
* Previous credit control experience preferred
\n\t
* A capability to solve problems
\n\t
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
\n\t
* Confident personality
\n
\n\n
