Interim Workstream Project Manager

Pay Rate: £392.05 per day PAYE
37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
This opening assignment is for 3 months
City: GLOUCESTER
Hybrid - On site presence will be required (1 day a week- Monday) and as required during critical delivery phases e.g. cutover and go-live.
We are seeking a Workstream Project Manager to support the Council capitalise on its new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The One SAP Programme is entering its final phases with all new platforms in the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase. The Council now requires a project manager who can pick up the technical workstream and manage the delivery of this critical workstream through the final phase of delivery through to go-live.
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate sound project management knowledge and skills, ideally within a technical project or programme. Candidates should have a strong understanding of project management disciplines such as RAID management and possess excellent knowledge of MSP, with experience in the integration of multiple MSP plans. Additionally, local authority experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining the project plan using MSP.
RAID management.
Ensuring compliance with programme governance.
Preparing highlight reports and agendas for workstream boards.
Key requirements:
Can demonstrate sound project management knowledge and skills, ideally within a technical project or programme.
Can demonstrate knowledge of project management disciplines such as RAID management.
Excellent knowledge of MSP and experience in the integration of multiple MSP plans.
Knowledge and ability to run analysis and reporting to identify progress - desirable
Experience of managing a workstream within a wider technology programme.
Local authority experience - desirable
Good communicator and experience of working with senior stakeholders - desirable
