The Role:
* A highly reputable veterinary hospital in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon.
* The role is primarily focused on small animal consulting across the hospital and its branches, with full support available from the main hospital for any cases requiring further workup.
* The role is full-time, with 40 hours spread over 4 days, although a 5-day week of 35-40 hours may also be considered.
The Candidate:
* The successful candidate will have the opportunity to pursue their specific interests, such as exotics or ophthalmology, with dedicated consulting time reserved for this purpose.
* This role is suitable for Veterinary Surgeons at varying levels of experience and can be tailored according to the individual's expertise and interests.

* The practice is a purpose-built RCVS Accredited Hospital, equipped with a full range of diagnostic and surgical equipment, enabling the team to work to the highest standards.
* The hospital is supported by three branches in the town and surrounding villages, providing a well-insured and motivated client base.
* The dedicated team of Night Vets and RVNs provides round-the-clock emergency and intensive care for patients, ensuring the quality of care continues beyond the workday.
The Team:
The practice boasts a friendly and supportive team, comprising 13 Day Vets, 3 Night Vets, 18 Day Nurses, 3 Night Nurses, 3 Kennel Assistants, and 2 Lab Techs. The team is committed to delivering outstanding care and fostering a positive work environment, focusing on the health and well-being of its colleagues.

The practice is located in Aylesbury, a bustling market town in Buckinghamshire, South East England. The town offers great attractions and is an excellent base for exploring the scenic Chiltern Hills. It also has good travel links, with London less than an hour away by train.
