Summary of the role An opportunity has arisen to work within a friendly team, in a busy but supportive environment, playing a meaningful part in the journey of our medical students from undergraduates to junior doctors. The Education Support Team provides core and critical operational support for clinical and academic teaching activity for students in all five years of the BMBS Medicine programme in Devon. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the development and delivery of the BMBS Medicine programme working flexibly both as part of a team and independently with confidence and reliability. Medicine is a fast-moving and ever-changing environment so being comfortable with continuous change and adopting a commitment to ongoing professional development is important within this team. Day to day you will be dealing with student and staff queries, monitoring and maintaining records underpinning the delivery of the programme and providing administrative support for delegated operational activities. About You You will be looking to challenge yourself delivering a complex course in a high-pressure environment as part of a committed programme team. You will bring excellent organization skills, attention to detail and proven ability to multitask. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be comfortable and confident working with people at all levels (e.g. students, senior managers, academics and consultant clinicians). A personable nature in order to provide outstanding customer service in this front-line role is essential.
